Wow, I remember Come Together on TV back in 72,73 I believe. Pat Boone had recently become charasmatic and the 2rd Chapter of Acts was in its beginning stages. At the time I was somewhat caught up in the Jesus People Movement, and the charasmatic movement that was exploding at that time. 'Come Together' was a musical experience I will never foget. I too bought the album and pretty much wore it out. Here is an hour of total worship that can only be experienced - words cannot come close to describing this experience. I have been waiting to see this one in Cd format as well. Bring it on, please.

I remember appreciating 'Come Together' as a child. I still particularly like 'God So Loved The World'. I saw 'Come Together' performed at the Gwennap Pit open air amphitheatre in Cornwall (something of an English Christian 'heritage site' because John Wesley preached there in the 18th century). I have the vinyl LP, unfortunately it's the second (1974) UK pressing (the one in the gatefold sleeve) with the inferior (unintentional?) mono mix (though the label says stereo). This version has some of the acoustic guitar parts missing (I know, because a friend of mine had the first UK pressing from 1973). Would love to see 'Come Together' issued on CD and be able to hear the full correct mix again after all these years.

I sang in a choir in the 70s and come together was the most inspiring vinyl.unfortunatly I moved and lost my record,would love to get cd ,such good strong music makes you feel alive

Have just rediscovered this on vinyl. Forgotten how good it is. Amazingly after 15 + years still remember the lyrics. Record is a bit scratched so would live to find iron CD

Would you be so kind as to post the lyrics? My husband remembers the tune but believes he's missing some of the words and wonders whether there's a second verse. He is pastor of our church and we together are 2 of 3 parts of the main music ministry team, plus we have a small choir.

The "Come Together" ,musical was such a blessing and inpsiration to me in my youth in Southern Africa, I would love to get a copy of the sheet music and dvd (if it exists)
