This record comes with no information whatsoever. However, I am aware that it is a remake of "Promised Land", a gospel track which Joe originally published about six years ago, along with several unsuccessful gospel-tinged albums. The song itself is just as inspiring now as it was way back then, but whether Joe was at all involved in this particular project is anybody's guess. Let me quote some of the lyrics: "Brothers, sisters, one day we will be free from fighting, violence, people crying in the streets/When the angels from above fall down and spread their wings like doves, as we walk hand in hand/Sisters, brothers, we'll make it to the Promised Land." Good stuff indeed! There are three remixes on offer, all of which could best be described as classic house music of the highest quality, which would be entirely at home either in the clubs or on some of the more upbeat radio shows. And Joe has a great voice, so what more could you want?
