I had the album BLAZING CALL by Joe Stricklin on cassette and lost it or it got eaten. I just today purchased the CD from Amazon and will digitize it when I get it. It almost makes you wonder if he is still alive. This was a great album and he was very talented. I would love to find out what happened to him.

I attended a church camp many years ago and I believe Joe Stricklin was there and I loved his music. I had a cassette tape by him from that summer but it has since been destroyed...I cant remember the name of it though...it was made in the late 1980's...maybe '87. Does anyone know if any of this artists music is available anywhere? Or if it is the same guy even?

Very good album. The lyrics are genuine and heartfelt. The message in the lyrics cuts to the soul. The solos are bridges are similar, but with Mike Dumas, they are good.
