Mr Chernoff will be fondly remembered by Jesus music nostalgists as half of the seminal duo Lamb and since then has released occasional Messianic worship projects. This album stems from 2002 and opens with "Baruch Adonai" which starts with four bars of guitar rock before flipping into a slightly clichéd poppy "Fiddler On The Roof" feel. The stronger tracks are the country/Jewish mix of "When You Rise Up", the Hebrew/'80s rock combo of "Let It Flow" and the funky Jewish jazz of "Not By Might". Perhaps ironically the least rhythmic of this collection is the title track which is an Iona-esque synth ballad with recorder and flute emerging from the misty and intimate soundscape, a gentle prayer for closeness to God rather than a raucous celebration of dance! Chernoff's voice has the occasional Neil Diamond moment and he sings with passion and strength, though every now and then the feel of the music, swirly synths and all, has an '80s vibe to it.

Product Description
Mix in the timeless Psalms of David with the emotional resonance of Jewish-flavoured melodies, then add the contemporary production strength of Dove award-winning producer Bill Cuomo, and you have a recipe for a matchless worship experience from Messianic Praise & Worship pioneer Joel Chernoff (of Lamb).
Come Dance With Me is an invitation to personal and intimate worship with Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah.
The balance of this album is filled with cutting edge songs of joy, assurance, and victory - and includes performances with Joel's 19 year-old daughter, Sharon, a rising artist in her own right. Come Dance With Me will bring both Jewish and Gentile believers back to the roots of their faith to worship at the feet of Yeshua.
