A mix of traditional worship songs and songs which look at different aspects of life and faith. This is all put together by a Scottish worship leader in a folk/pop style, which is a welcome change from the glut of rock-worship releases. This, John's second album, opens with the title track which emotes a dream-like quality, especially the opening section, with John's graceful voice declaring "I'm gonna fly for eternity". The next few tracks bounce along quite nicely in a more upbeat pop style and songs such as "All I Want" and the uplifting "Brighter Day" would quite easily find their place in congregational worship at most churches. The album slows down a bit after that with a couple of songs which are more performance orientated. "Heaven's Eyes" speaks of how we need to look at people and situations as God sees them and "Forgive" is more of a concept song, with the singer having a conversation with God about finding it hard to forgive and God responding. The album then switches back to worship mode with "Lead Me Home" and "Dance And Sing", the latter a great song for leading worship in a church setting. This is an enjoyable enough album though I think it may have worked better as a straight forward worship project.
