A thematic presentation following the story of a modern day Prodigal Son, this brilliantly overcomes the limits of a small recording budget. Johnny clearly demonstrates himself to be one of the most gifted rock gospel communicators based in Britain. Canadian born Johnny's music is brash and incisive and the occasional deja vu of the riffs and arrangements overcome by the passion of the man's presentation. As he sings 'Don't look for me among the pious types/'Cause you won't find me there no more/And don't look for me among the quiet rooms/'Cause I want to hear the city's roar" listen out for Johnny's sound of the city.
