The third in the series, these dozen songs were recorded live at a monthly Hear The Music Night in Winnipeg, Canada by an energetic team of young local musicians. All songs are covers - choicely picked from a diverse breadth of rare and popular material. Great tunes - often upbeat, always catchy and ever worshipful - we get Sonicflood's "Resonate", Vineyard UK's "Devotion", Tree's "Joy", and a rousing version of Rich Mullin's "That's Where I Am" which surely tops the take on 'The Jesus Record'. While Buller's lead vocals nowhere reach the potency of Powell's gruff tones on Third Day's "These Thousand Hills", they still carry impact, as does female vocalist Jolin's take on Kim McMechan's emotive "How I Love You So" and David Crowder's "You Alone" - a track that appears on neither of Crowder's own recordings. I still can't decide whether Neil Diamond's "I'm A Believer" adapts to a worship setting(!), but both the ‘60s retro-style cover-pic and a groovy seven-min rap-funk worship bonus show that these guys are not only talented, but also imaginative and fun. Further evidence of the wealth of Christian music emanating from the land of Canada.
