Despite containing selected songs from five CDs you might be surprised at the range of styles that chart the Canadian worship leader's progress from the end of the last decade to the middle of this one. 'The Best Of Jon Buller' is a diverse mix, from the soothing melodies of "Lord Of Everything" and "Lord How Excellent" to the enthusiastic Pogues-a-like "Meet Me In The River". There's a country-blues style in "Sweet Jesus" and "Glory Bound" and, no stranger to being converted into a contemporary hymn, "Psalm 150" finds an unusual pacing that shows Jon's experience at leading group worship. All told this is an enjoyable place to investigate Jon's ministry, although it's unlikely to change the shape of them too much in the long run.
