Jonny is a pretty well known Rugby-based worship leader and this is his first children's project. The tunes are certainly catchy and entirely without pretension. A flavour of what's on offer is clear from some of the lyrics - "Everybody breathe with the breath God gave you/Everybody clap with the hands God gave you" or "With a flap flap/And a honk honk/And a wubba wubba. . . I'm gonna praise the Lord!" The Old Testament gets a disco workout - "Noah was a man with a big long beard/He tried to build a boat but the people called him weird", but the chorus message on this track is important for kids: "I don't care what the people say/I'm gonna love God anyway". Gospel numeracy even gets an outing in "2+2", where Trinity theology defies the maths! All in all this is a joyful celebratory album, full of good fun, catchy foot tappin' melodies, and best of all the lyrics are crystal clear.
