Jordan here delivers one of the most musically intelligent and lyrically lucid albums you'll hear this or any year. Moving away from producing music for Porsche, Mini Cooper and many others, today this studio-owning multi-instrumentalist leads worship at a church in Texas and now delivers an album which blends the sound of Bono and Counting Crows with lyrics that bridge the gap of human pain and spiritual wonder. It's no surprise that three songs here, "Fade Away", "Cold Sunshine" and "Until We Meet Again", have been selected for Cross Rhythms radio exposure. On 'Nightlights & Melted Ice' he plays electric and acoustic guitar, piano, organ, bass, strings and glockenspiel, something he won't be able to do if he becomes as big as he deserves to be. This album kicks off with some gritty raw guitar but soon all kinds of keyboard sounds establish themselves. Plenty of diverse sounds and as well as the playlist songs look out for "Somehow" and the mesmerising "Off My Mind". A brilliant debut.
