Whilst the music on this five-track EP sounds as contemporary as anything released within the mainstream world in the past 15 years, the lyrics are timeless. Josh is, of course, a popular figure in US Christian music. Here, dashes of Bruno Mars and even Jessie J can be detected on the opener, "Self Less", and suggest a track which could easily be a worldwide commercial smash hit though one which lyrically would go against the flow of the most hedonistic pop product available at the moment. The song focuses upon selflessness, choosing to reflect upon the traps set by modern living by giving insight into the real meaning of life: "It's not about thinking less of myself/But thinking of myself less." Further material maintains the theme, whilst also glorying in the simple, ordinary pleasures of living. "Borrow (One Day At A Time)" has a Robbie Williams feel, coupled with an ebullience reminiscent of Coldplay. "OK" advises that it's alright, in life, not to have it all together. Excellent musicianship and a clean production throughout also suggest other influences such as Mylo and Jimmy Needham, circa "Momma Didn't Raise No Fool". The final, and title-track, features a snippet of the oldie "I Have Decided To Follow Jesus" and completes a brief collection which ought to played on heavy-rotation in church youth clubs everywhere.
