After reading the impressive mission statement by the band I awaited the first song with intrepid anticipation. As the electric guitar started off what sounded like being a fantastic song I felt rather smug that I had managed to secure such a good EP. As the guitar moved on it was the turn of the vocalist and it was at that point that for me the song fell flat. Sadly, after listening through the four songs it was clear that this was a recurring theme and it was the musicians that had the wealth of experience on this record and the vocals needed some more in depth training to stand CD scrutiny. Also, painful to listen to were obvious rhymes finished each line so that we had life, knife, despair, you know where, etc, etc. A better singer and a better lyricist could have pulled this around for the Birmingham-based band but as it stands at present this is a pretty poor EP.

I think that you guys rock! love your stuff but the vocals need a bit of tweaking and the lyrics need a more varied variety of themes. Hope to see you guys in the charts soon! Oh and nice myspace!

What a fantastic group of people! Songs have been clearly and thoughtfully written and the vocals from Simon Pike are fantastic! The whole band are clearly going all out for God!
