Like his other album, 'I Declare', this features Julius distinctive, husky singing tones on a set of rather basic praise and worship songs. There is certain courage in baring your soul with lyrics deliberately stripped of any complexity and this is best encapsulated in the appropriately titled "Simple Song". Often gentle melodrama is evoked that is engrossed in worship and the cry of the heart and there is a charmingly peaceable calm about this singer who unobtrusively allows us to meditate upon our Lord with a much needed wide eyed innocence
