JUMP stands for Jesus Understands Me Personally, and the ministry is not simply to lead people into an understanding of God, but to also see God meet people's needs. This album of worship songs is designed to minister through worship and words. Though obviously hamstrung by a limited budget, the songs have a quality both musically and spiritually to communicate God's truth. I like the anthemic "Rise Up", the moving "Creation's Echo" and the atmospheric title track which closes the album. Dynamic lyrics and catchy songs and some inventive ideas are combined together and JUMP should be encouraged that they're working on the right lines, just need some more studio time to make a more satisfying listen. Sadly, the overall muggy sound of the CD doesn't do them justice.
