Most wrinklies like me would be slightly cynical of a fivesome whose total collective ages probably come to little more than the reviewer's age and whose biog gives you such delightful titbits as Brittany's favourite colour (pink, of course) and Libby's favourite flower (daisies). But it's only too easy to sneer at lightweight teenybop, dismissing it as "manufactured". The truth is this is no more manufactured than many studio creations and what the group show on tracks like the effervescent "All I Can Do" and the mildly funky "Throw Your Hands Up" is a bubbly sound a little like an updated version of the Jackson 5. No great spiritual depth, of course, but the superb production from Mark Hammond and radio-friendly hooks ensure that this team of young Christians will continue to make steady inroads into popdom.
