Jump5 exploded on to the scene in 2001 and in that time have pumped out three albums, one Christmas disc, three DVDs and redid Disney's classic tune "Beauty And The Beast". They have a new CD coming out soon and they still find time for this remix disc -breathtaking really! The songs certainly get a good makeover, you have everything from dance mixes to R&B/hip-hop mixes, all without losing a very strong pop flavour. This should appeal to existing fans and should win some new ones. The most unusual remix has got to be "Start Jumpin' The Double Dutch Mix" - Bonsai mix more like! You've got to hear it to believe it! This is really good quality music and also lyrics have depth dealing with issues like self worth and peer pressure. To be honest the last two songs which are covers, "We Are Family" and "Celebration", pale in comparison to the tunes that come before them. I would have preferred two more of their original songs myself. This CD is only eight quid which is a bargain for what you get. If you want upbeat pop music these guys do it exceptionally well.
