Ka-Je Projek from the US east coast are actually Mike and Wendy Elston Davis. "I Surrender" starts this three track dance/trance EP with an atmospheric synth line and vocal into that is soon joined by a thumping almost distorted drum line. "Lift Your Head Up", remixed by Digital Aura, continues the trance feel while the final "Get To Know Me", remixed by Jason Randolph, has a more house feel. All the songs would fit perfectly well in any dance club but equally have a very positive spiritual message so often completely absent from most dance music. The lyrics are never swamped by the music and Wendy's vocals are well worth listening to. A great start and a sign of good things to come.
