Music mostly by Kate Miner and with a couple of songs by Jason Wade and one by Matt Redman, this book has guitar chords, piano score and vocals for 13 tracks. Most of these contemporary songs are directed to God in praise of his love, his grace and the place of refuge that we find he is. Some songs come out of a time of struggle ("Still I Choose"), or out of apparent darkness, and like the Psalms lift our focus to God and the cross in "Jesus, You Are Holy". The songs are pitched low for the treble voice and reflect the style of the singer. The format of the book was difficult to use even though A4 in size. It is not spiral bound and with sometimes as few as six bars of music per page, be prepared for lots of page turning! The book consists of a musical score section followed by words and guitar chords only section and succeeded by a words only section. Songs include "Better Is One Day", "We Shall Be Like You" and "God Is My Refuge".
