Kay is originally from the Bahamas but now resident in Canada. This dual national identity is evident in her music, which draws its influences from both the Caribbean and (with slightly less success) North America. The best tracks on 'Live Again' are the reggae ones, in particular 'Walk Around Heaven'. The Jimmy Swaggart cover and Kay's attempts at US style black gospel singing don't work as well as her other stuff.
