Singer/songwriter and percussionist Keith Robertson has produced the sort of assured release you would expect from someone who's childhood summers were spent around uncle Chris Jasper (of the Isley Brothers). Keith has brought a wealth of experience to this album in a 15 year career that has seen him work with the likes of Teddy Pendergrass and N-Sync. This is an ambitious project tackling the emotions and rollercoaster experiences that "love, life and relationships" throw at us, which, in the hands of a lesser songwriter could have become slushy or sentimental. You do feel sometimes like you have been here before musically. However there are some sinuously smooth tracks here like "My Baby", which reflects on the joy in falling in love with a Godly woman. The album doesn't shy away from dealing with darker issues such as homelessness, pain and heartache. Keith touches on the difficulties faced in relationships on the track "Stay" an uplifting and encouraging anti-divorce message promoting healing and reconciliation. The album has been created with flair and pastiche as it moves from sweet soulful ballads to the more up tempo Latin influences on "Fiesta" and "Hola".
