Since he left Commissioned some years back Keith's solo career has far from sparkled. Two mediocre albums are all seemingly it produced. But unbeknown to us CD consumers a new direction was slowly emerging in Keith's life, he has become worship leader and minister of music at New Way Fellowship Praise And Worship Centre in Miami, Florida. Now Keith emerges with his p&w debut. By bringing in another ex-Commissioned veteran Fred Hammond to produce it, Integrity have ensured that the proceedings are seriously funky and to hear Keith soulfully wheezing soul power into Don Moen's "I Want To Be Where You Are" and Darlene Zschech's "Shout To The Lord" is a thrilling worship experience. The accompaniments have largely been pre-programmed by Tommy Walker but have plenty of zip for all that and this album has enough passionate energy to appeal to R&B and traditional gospel fans.

This album has to be one of the greatest albums ever made, period. The production, singing and playing are top rate. The atmosphere it creates is awesome. A great Fred Hammond production and a superb Keith Staten performance. I believe this recording enabled many people of colour to embrace the genre of praise and worship.
