The songs on this album came "prophetically" out of times of free worship and have been subsequently honed and polished by Keith back in the recording studio. They certainly have impact with an edge to them and where God is directing his words to us rather than the usual "us telling God how we love him". The tracks that particularly spoke to me on my first few listenings were "Give It Away", referring to the Holy Spirit which includes a caution not to treat the Holy Spirit as a toy! Certainly a very pertinent song for the present time! "Don't Turn Your Back On Me" offers a response "Every time you do I cry" - a clear cry from God's heart of compassion to help us in times of need. "Live In Me" with an effecting piano backing, is, I think, going to be the song which will get the widest circulation. Possibly the only criticism I would have with this pioneering project is that the songs were a little wordy but I don't think that this detracts to any measure. There is a definite mixture of styles, including one excellent instrumental track. I am very glad that this recording was kept fairly simple, it makes a refreshing change! Well worth a listen!
