Children's choirs are in truth an acquired taste but this is one you may well want to investigate. Keith and Kristyn deserve their international reputation as premier exponents of hymnody and here an above average children's ensemble recorded in Nashville offer charming renditions of songs ranging from the adult classic title track alongside shorter ones like "Hear The Call Of The Kingdom" (written in 2006 by the Gettys and Stuart Townend) and the stirring closer, penned with Nathan Nockels and Jonas Myrin, "The Lord Is My Salvation". Children singing such rich theology is truly moving and shows we don't have to dumb down our songs of faith when presenting them for children to sing.
