This committed Christian artist is clearly a very skilled electric guitar player as evidenced by the many long guitar solos throughout this CD. Unfortunately though, Arkansas-based Kenny does not have a voice to match the quality of his songwriting and guitar playing. There are some good songs here, such as the opener "Glory, Glory", "Jesus I Bless Your Name" and "Before I Met Jesus" though "Doo Wop Praise" might sound like an intriguing concept but I found it rather self-indulgent. Overall, I found the CD pretty substandard.

I recently seen Kenny Heroux in concert ( 3 Nov. 2013) and purchased this CD... Y'all ain't got a clue of what good music is. I found the entire CD to be most enjoyable and having heard him preach, and having visited with him i assure you there is no self-indulgence in him.

I do disagree with parts your review as I have listened to the CD and find the vocals and songs awesome. I am amazed at the way each song has differing vocals I particularly enjoy listening to "Before i Met Jesus" as it has such a range of vocal styles throughout and i have to agree with you on the skilled guitar playing ... but best of all i find the songs lift my Spirit and i pray that Kenny Heroux will bring out more CD's as i find his style very refreshing and i wish him all the best in his music ministry
