All credit to Kenny Mack who has experienced the love of God in a very real way, and obviously through some hurt on the way. I just would have liked for Kenny to have done it some other way, rather than on this recording! There are four tracks on the CD - one instrumental and three "songs". Right from the beginning when Kenny speaks over the music as an introduction one began to think there was something not quite right. Then Kenny started to sing and one instantly knew. Without wishing to be too harsh, Kenny should promote the female backing singer (who has a superb voice) to be the main vocalist, and Kenny should work with another musician. Kenny's lyrics are personal and I have no problem with that, but there needs to be more of a melody to make the listening experience a bit more interesting. There is no variety at all in the first track as the backing music is the same all the way through. I am afraid to say that based on this recording, Kenny Mack should postpone his album and think again.
