KT is, as you probably know, one of the most influential local churches in the UK and has long been a draw for those with musical (and other creative) gifts. Their last album, in Kingsway's Worshipping Churches series, probably had a few too many pop luminaries as 'guests' to be entirely convincing but this set exudes spontaneity, freshness and true worship. Visiting Australian producer Chris Falson has kept the vocal solos down here, though Chris himself does pop up for a lead on "We Have A Vision". Lots of great moments, like the breakdown on "Mourning Into Dancing" and some great brass riffs from Raul D'Oliveria and his mates while the songs are a deft mix of new stuff ("Come To The Power", "Passion For Jesus" and "The Angels Around Your Throne" and others by Richard Lewis - the worship leader at KT) and one or two anointed oldies (David Ruis' "Father Of Creation"). Lots of good new songs to learn, bags of atmosphere and a joyful worship experience.
