This is a self-produced album of original songs from a Skegness-based singer/guitarist. The songs vary from reflective to more rocky, with a fair bit of 12 bar thrown in. You can tell that Kev is an accomplished guitar player and the songs are full of integrity and purpose - but it would sound more rounded an offering with good studio production behind it. I would like to hear Kev with a full band. Those interested can visit the website and listen to the album online. You should also check out Kev's story so that you can see the heart behind the music. All in all, this is a reasonable debut offering.
