The subtitle for this album is 'One Hour Of Liquid Funk Drum & Bass' and that seems as good a description as any! Kubiks and BCee are actually DJ Doug Ross and Steve Jeffrey who have compiled the album featuring a selection of other singers and DJs working in the same field. The results are a seamless flow of dance filling tracks with creative rhythms and suitable samples and diva style vocal contributions. Designed for the dancefloor, this is fabulous euphoric stuff. I really love the Champagne, Kubiks and BCee collaboration "Always There" and the slightly more frantic "Keep On Pushin" which features Davide Carbone working with Kubiks. This is a very good start from Rubik Records!
