L.E.D.? have been doing stirling work around Cornwall's schools and in many ways are, like Manchester's Twelve24, successfully carrying on the dance, pop and rap template created years back by The World Wide Message Tribe. As the title suggests - if you understand text speak that is - this is a collection of remixes of tracks from L.E.D.?'s previous album 'Flip The Switch' together with the title track from their EP 'Just Dance'. The songs were well written in the first place with catchy melodies and strong lyrics covering subjects that benefit their target school audience and the remixes have built on this solid foundation. There is a more dubstep feel, the drum rhythm is really beefed up and the vocals freshened up with the result that the tracks feel stronger and more up to date than the original versions. Well worth investigating while supporters await a fully new album.
