Laura is multi-faceted, being a worship leader and songwriter based in Ontario, co-running His Company and Hope And A Future Ministries which has produced two other CDs, a children's book and even a Scripture inspired perfume. The unifying aim of all these projects is to help others to experience intimacy with God and inner healing. 'Invisible Realms' concentrates on the unseen dimensions as described in the book of Revelation. Seven heartfelt songs written by Laura are matched by seven passionate prayers, the CD intended to be listened to as a whole rather than as separate tracks. Part quiet worship, part enunciating an urgent and strident longing for God to act, this CD would be an aid for someone wanting to draw closer to the God sung about in "Hidden Things" and "Invisible Realms". "The Lord Our God Is One" is a melodic and memorable declaration of faith; Laura's vocal style and approach reminding me in some ways of Miriam Webster's less well known material. "Because Of Jesus", "The Greatest Army" and "I Will Not Lose Heart" are hopeful songs of encouragement and a determination to keep going. Overall the songs are quietly thoughtful, but in no way insipid. With the prayers they offer a holistic but clearly Christian alternative to new age meditation.

Product Description

Jesus is coming again! We do not know the day of the hour. What we do know is that we need to be ready. 2 Corinthians 4:18 says “…what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” The world around us is transient while God’s kingdom is advancing in invisible realms.

This music tells the story of my heart as I am drawn to set my eyes on eternity. These songs and prayers are designed for continuous play. They explore Jesus’ reign as king, the pure love of the trinity, mysteries, angels, the life of faith and the joys of heaven.

What I have written is only a small glimpse of what God’s Word says about these things. I deeply recommend beginning your own biblical study to learn the fullness of God’s message on this topic. As you listen, may your spirit be caught up into a revelation of His kingdom, his heart and a renewed passion for His Word.
