A three-track single recorded in 1997/8 but up to now unreleased for what Andrew Wright says are long, complex and personal reasons. The band Life no longer exist, but Mr Wright is looking to form a new band as I write. I'm bound to say after listening to this that it might have been better if these tracks had never seen the light of day, so poor is the recording quality of the two live and one studio tracks here. On all, the drums sound more like cardboard boxes and there really is no "mix" to speak of. Perhaps this might have sounded better on cassette, but on CD it really sounds awful. Andrew used to record for Factory Records back in the '80s, and the material has a somewhat Joy Division-like quality to it, but quality is the watchword here and I'm afraid to say that in my opinion, 'We Can Live Forever' would struggle to achieve its stated aim to glorify God. If you're going to release a CD, for goodness sake ensure that the recording quality is up to standard. This is nowhere near.
