Hailing from Toronto, Lightfall here produce a solid and atmospheric sound on this EP. "Promise Of The Father" grooves its way out the speakers, emphasising a meandering bass line and airy lead guitars, whereas "For All" contains possibly the most soulful melody in the chorus. The memorably quirky "Walk On Water" features smooth but powerful keyboards/programming, carefully crafted lyrics and a haunting vocal melody which will linger in your mind like a memory. Ending the disc on the typically anthemic note is "Saviour Of My Soul", which again seems to build up and never quite reach its peak. We're not quite throwing roses yet, but Lightfall have shone a bright path for themselves.
