'Live To Worship' is the latest offering from Lincoln Brewster, a young singer/songwriter who created a stir a while back and who's toured with Darrel Evans. This album is a collection of 11 worship songs that offer a blending of Brewster's own material as well as some well known favourites. Each track is delivered in an upbeat style that makes a refreshing change compared to other worship albums that have a tendency to be rather bland and predictable. Lincoln's style is very much in keeping with the dc Talk/Delirious? mode of expression and thus will appeal to devotees of this musical genre. Some of the more familiar tunes include: "Lord I Lift Your Name On High", "Power Of Your Love", "Shout To The Lord" (surprise, surprise!) and "Amazing Grace"! Lincoln's own material is well produced and written which makes for a rather enjoyable musical ensemble that will appeal especially to the younger market. In fact this album is an ideal buy for worship leaders who are looking for some fresh inspiration with how to inject some fresh life into some of the older standards.
