The title track - the only one sung in Welsh - refers to the rugged landscape of Snowdonia, "a place where you instantly feel at ease, your soul is at peace there". Such, too, is the feeling evoked by this collection of home-grown folk songs from Lindsay (Ridley), a Welsh-born teacher now living in Kidderminster. With pure, slightly Celtic-toned vocals that are somewhat reminiscent of Irish harpsist, Mary O'Hara, Lindsay leads us through a set of thoroughly non-cliched songs, all of which are directly spiritual in content. Several of these centre on Jesus and his sacrifice for us, notably the simple but charming "You Came".  The occasional track - eg "Say a little Prayer" - sounds a tad simplistic, but then there's "Cries Of Justice", a heartfelt song of protest, and "Devoted", a beautifully original and moving number. With little in accompaniment other than her own guitar and piano, this singer adequately reveals her obvious musical gifting and love for the Lord. A fine CD to soak in a deep and powerful peace.

It's nice to see an album about Jesus for once!!!!!!!!!. However some of the tracks sound the same. My favourite one is still so simple !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I would give it 9/10.

I have been in the music business for 20 years and this is the worst album I've ever heard. Bad vocals and terrible accompaniment makes it diabolical. Consumers beware don't go in a 3 mile radius of this CD. The worst buy of your life- I'd like to know who rated this so highly.
