Regular Cross Rhythms radio listeners will recognise Lindsey as the singer on the haunting mid tempo "Heaven", a turntable hit pulled from the various artists charity album 'The Rose Sessions' while industry insiders will tell you that Lindsey Cleary has sung BVs for Atomic Kitten, Michael Ball and many others. Here her album debut (which contains her radio hit) shows that not only does Ms Cleary have an exceptional set of vocal pipes able to move from a tender, brittle near-whisper to head back emoting, but Lindsey also writes fine songs. Try the beautiful "Sarah", as moving a ballad as you're likely to hear this year, while "Beautiful Day" starts with acoustic guitar but builds to a surging pop anthem. But best of all is "Start A War" with a little-girl-lost vocal and a clever arrangement conceived by co-producer Kevan Gallagher and a riveting vocal climax sung in a machine-gun staccato. Clearly an exceptional talent, Lindsey is surely on the way to big things.

Without doubt Lindsey's an exceptional vocal talent; but listen to her lyrics and you'll discover a realism and honesty that's seldom found... It's a powerfully authentic album.

Fantastic album full of hidden layers and depths. Everytime I listen to one of Lindsey's songs I discover something new to love and be inspired by. Her lyrics are full of a life and truth that is seldom heard in contemporary pop music today. My favourite is 'Save my soul' - it brings tears to my eyes everytime I listen to it and makes my heart pound with its powerful message.

Beautiful debut album from Lindsey that is uplifting and in places lyrically hard hitting. Her melodies and lyrics take you on a journey that you may have had simliar experiences to in your life, and remind you of the joy and beauty of God's promises for us. My favourite is 'Beautiful day' instantly brings Joy when I hear it.
