Reading their press release as I listen to this single I learn that Love Crusade are a well known live band that play pubs and clubs in and around the Birmingham area. This gains them some credibility in my eyes and it may even have gained them an extra square. "Coming Home" is their debut single. This is a simple song based on the parable of the prodigal son. But there is enough ambiguity to see it as an ordinary love song, whereas "Time To Turn" on the b-side has a much clearer Gospel message. This is laid back R&B I could imagine would be great to listen to with a pint of lager, even in the smokiest of pubs.
