Lukas is led by worship leader, songwriter, musician and producer Luke Munns, based in the central eastern coast Australia. Luke was in New York shortly after terrorists had taken down the twin towers and the song was inspired by the 'powerful picture of the people of New York finding restoration and strength in such desolation', in addition the experience of pain through his daughter's slow battle to health played a major part. Musically, comparisons could be made to Hillsong United or Jesus Culture delivered with Luke's pristine warm vocal style which suits the song beautifully. The song is a strong encouragement to focus on Christ in difficult circumstances. Contained here is the original song, alongside instrumental and acoustic versions. Powerful.
