This is an album of ten well known worship songs aimed at babies, but unlike their "Praise Baby" series the music is entirely instrumental. The tracks here are played in a music box style that is very soporific but it left me wondering if there is much value in using the tunes of these worship songs. Could it be to subliminally place the melodies in the sub conscious mind of the dear babes so that when, years later, they encounter the material again in a worship service they immediately recognise the melodies that once lulled them to sleep? Still unconvinced, I tried playing this at bedtime to my little one who admittedly is a few years older than the intended audience. It was good that she did sing along to some of the songs and was soon fast asleep. Yes, 'Lull-A-Bye Baby' does work. If you are looking for a lullaby for your tiny tots this may be for you.
