For once one of these modern punk/grunge type bands have impressed me. If there's anyone out there that likes Green Day you must get MP. It's simply superb. 21 tracks of noise, popping basses, fast drum beats and addictive vocal melodies. Stand out tracks would be "Too Much Thinking", "Wanted", "Unopposed", "The Aspect", "Bad Hair Day", "Another Song About TV", "Walking Bye", "No Room" (I give up! They're all good.). MP (alias Magnified Plaid) are a three piece from the north-east US. They are also the pride and joy of Tooth And Nail Records, who hail them as the best band on the label. Unfortunately this style of music and hardcore still remains untouched in British Christian circles.
