The debut album from a London-based band of punk rockers, this is produced and mixed by the group's lead singer and composer Alex Grieg. He has done a very fine job as well, as the album has a bright, tight feel to it belying its home studio origins. The majority of the nine songs on offer here are filled with hard hitting riffs, ear piercing solos and the occasional shouted chorus. This is definitely an album for those who like their overdrive turned up to the max. Most of the lyrics would not sound out of place in many secular rock songs, though a little probing will uncover an underlying message of seeking after God and our need for him in our lives. The album breaks with punk tradition at the end with the beautiful piano led "I Miss You". The first half of the song even has an orchestral feel to it and provides some balance to the shouty rockers elsewhere. A fine debut from a band with a bright future ahead of them.
