Swindon-based Marc has a testimony of the freedom that God has given him. He has struggled with alcohol and drug dependency that left him with 11 years of being in and out of mental hospitals. Dunn writes that God "rescued me from this Hell-like lifestyle" 12 years ago, and this healing, alongside Dunn's Christian faith are the reasons behind the title of this album. It's an encouraging story and Marc's trust in the Lord, his joy at God's love and his sense of humour are all evident in his lyrics. Unfortunately, all of the above doesn't translate into a good album. Every song quickly reaches a point where they become unlistenable. Vocals are frequently out-of-tune, guitar playing is out-of-time, lyrics are repetitive and either clichéd or, occasionally, downright bizarre ("I believe in Father Christmas/I believe in love/I believe that many things are given from above') and the sound quality of the recordings vary greatly. It's a shame because with some strong band mates, some vocal work coaching and a pastor to help add focus and depth to the lyrics there is some potential here.
