This album makes for engaging listening. Springfield, Ohio-based Kesler has a great voice, and the 12 tracks featured are heartfelt, accessible and catchy. The tunes are structured around the album's centrepiece "The Green Room" - a song about waiting for the freedom found in Christ. The hope expressed in this track brings a positive element to songs that tell of distractions, temptations and regrets. Opening track "Free Fall" expresses the words of St Paul; desperate to do what is right, yet still giving in to sin. The short, sweet acoustic tracks do not take long to become recognisable, and it's one of those great listens that pretty much requires you to press play again as soon as it's finished. When a lot of the current female vocal releases rely on driving rhythm and big choruses, this has the intimate feel of Sarah Masen's reflective moments. Recommended listening.

The reason I listen to Marianne is because she does this for a reason- she is passionate and supports a cause. She really has something to say...not to mention the songwriting is beautifully crafted.
