Possibly the leading musical figure in Britain's charismatic renewal within the Catholic Church, Marilla has pleased her huge following with a series of albums which have helped popularise many of the best mainstream worship songs (Kendrick, Richards, etc) in the broader church. Consequently, her albums have cried out for some original material and here she offers a few as well as some attractive medleys of well known choruses from the likes of Bowater, Bilbrough, and Wimber. Good to hear gifted Catholic composer Estelle White on CD. The appeal of Marilla's ministry is that lovely, pure toned voice and this mature album will no doubt find its niche nicely.
