South African Scholtz has been a worship leader and songwriter for 15 years in his home fellowship Harvest Christian Church. According to his website bio 'Great God' is a worship album that came from a vision God gave to him "to record the songs he had been using in his home church." Not only an accomplished musician Scholtz also has songwriting skills penning lyrics such as "The highest mountaintop, the deepest of the sea/Could never measure all of your love for me" ("King Of Glory") and "I kneel before you knowing I could never stand before your glory, when I'm just a mortal man" ("Hide Me"). Produced by Robert Williams, 'Great God' is a powerful worship album with enough passion and talent to inspire all who get to hear it.

A great worship album, by a talented musician. Keep going, Mark - this is the first of many, as God leads and guides you by His Spirit.

I know the musician personally as a family member - and am proud of his integrity and amazing humbleness and love for our Lord and this is reflected in his music. To God be the Glory
