Mark is a 24 year old youth and community worker from Christ The Rock Christian Fellowship in Yate near Bristol who regularly leads worship there and at the Mix youth celebration (a 700 plus youth worship event held monthly in the centre of Bristol). With all that going for him it pains me to report that this is a poor CD. Take the opening track "Come Let us Sing (Hallelujah)". Mark opens up with the biblical exhortation to "sing a new song to the Lord." But the recording of this particular song has a flat vocal and a slightly out of tune electric lead guitar. Things occasionally improve a tad, and Mark clearly displays a heart overflowing with worship. But in truth this CD is no more than "dodgy demo" standard.
