Mark's 25th year of ministry has been marked with this music and comedy feast recorded live in Hollywood. Over a quarter of the total running time is given to introductions and song links giving Mark ample time to display his renowned wit. In an early exchange with the audience, Mark welcomes the varied denominations gathered with the crowd yelling back in response to their denomination being mentioned with Mark quipping "just think somebody's wrong!" This is the start of close interaction between Mark and his audience. The comedy is good in places but don't be surprised to find yourself hitting the forward skip after the first listen. The music and vocals demonstrated by the various artists including The Isaacs, Michael English and of course Mark himself, is technically flawless but is an acquired taste. An unaccompanied trio are a touch of class pulling off great dynamics on the "Lord Of The Dance" track, a vocal delight. I suspect though that overall, the DVD will be a better purchase than the CD.
