Mark has been playing cornet since childhood and is the veteran of some top brass ensembles. These two albums have been recorded in the past three years and both are based on the same successful formula - take popular hymns and choruses and give them easy listening arrangement featuring Mark Vrause's excellent cornet playing. There is no doubting his musical ability as Mark's playing is impeccable, however there seem to be hundreds of albums just like these, some assembled at great expense in America. It's hard to see how Mark's work stands a chance in such a sea of easy listening material. But if you'd like easy renditions of classics like "Father Of Creation","From Heaven You Came", "Dear Lord And Father Of Mankind" and "All I Once Held Dear" then volume one is the place to go
