The fact that California-based Martins Favor are related shows in their harmonies, which blend together magnificently, particularly showing on tracks like jazzy number "Ain't Nobody" and the uplifting "He Brought Me Out". This album tries to give its listeners something to worship and reflect to and I think it achieves this, however, there are some aspects I am not too keen on. In some tracks, like "Forever, I'll Love" and "Martins Favor" there are bits of prayer and speech, sometimes halfway through, sometimes at the beginning, which I think spoil the effect of the songs and could make worship or reflection difficult. Despite these, there are some good songs; the slow, piano-driven "Petition" for example, with strong vocals and thought provoking lyrics, is a definite gem. An uplifting, inspiring album that talks about being thankful to God, an album to listen to through all times.
