Martyn Joseph's An Aching And A Longing is a live album released in 1989.
In 1991 this was his current CD, but I had only heard of his name, so when I arranged a concert at Witham United Reformed Church, I had no idea of his musical style or history.
I was blown away by his stage presence, melodic guitar playing and thought provoking lyrics.
Martyn puts his Christian faith into understandable songs, without being too heavy and alienating any of his audience.
This 14 song collection features some outstanding numbers including Nobody's Fool, Reminded Of Heaven, I Will Follow and Dolphins Make Me Cry.
As far as I/m concerned it's 10 out of 10, so if you like his other recordings, seek this one out.
