Trying to describe Matthew's singing style is nearly as difficult as finding a hair on the top of his head. So don't try. Instead give a listen to an intriguing collection of sole tracks the veteran recorded away from his fam­ily group 2nd Chapter of Acts. There's at least one Cross Rhythms reviewer who considers Matthew one of the GREAT voices of popular music, so I need to tread carefully. I find "My Little Ones" to be in Paul McCartney style while Keith Green's brilliantly worded 'Summer Snow' is a pleasure. But throughout the album, although it's all pleasant listening rather than heavy laden. Technically very good but for this reviewer some of the tracks merged into one another without me realisating. A worrying trait for his fans only I feel
